# How do I remove a language that is no longer needed?

Click the **Languages** icon in the toolbar to open the language configuration dialog. Then click **Remove language**, choose the language you want to delete, and confirm with **OK**.

This will remove the language from your BabelEdit project, but it will NOT delete the corresponding translation files from disk.
