### Translation Credits

Translation Credits are necessary for operating the Pre-Translate, Suggestions, and Consistency AI features within BabelEdit.

*   For translations and suggestions, each character processed in the source language deducts one credit from your balance.
*   The Consistency AI feature uses more credits per character. Its cost varies based on input and output but a rough estimate is provided.
