# How can I use 9-patch scaling with the command line client?

TexturePacker does not support specifying 9-patch borders for individual sprites via the command line. However, you can use one of the following alternatives:

* Configure 9-patch scaling in the TexturePacker GUI client, save your project as a .tps file, and pass the .tps file to the command line client.

* Use Android ".9.png" sprite files with in-image markup for 9-patch borders. TexturePacker will automatically read these and pass the data to the exporter.
